Emotionology Credentialing

CEC- Certified Emotionology Coach

• Training- minimum of 540 hours of coach specific training (including Ethics and Core Competencies), being coached and coaching others. Training includes:
• 296 hours in class time
• 36 hours self study time
• 208 hours Coaching practice (as coach and/or client)
• 15 hours being coached by a Master Emotionology Coach (MEC)
• 20 hours coaching others with the critique of a mentor MEC Coach
• Proficient grade on CEC oral exam
• Proficient grade on CEC written exam

A Certified Emotionology Coach License is issued for a 3 year period. To recertify:

• Submit recertification application and fee
• Proficient grade on CEC recertification oral exam
• Submit proof of 20 hours of approved continuing education

MEC - Master Emotionology Coach

• Active certification as a CEC
• 350 hours training and Co-Facilitator of Emotionology training with a MEC
• Proficient on MEC Oral Exam

A Master Emotionology Coach License is issued for a 3 year period. To recertify:

• Submit recertification application and fee
• Proficient grade on MEC recertification oral exam
• Submit proof of 45 hours of approved continuing education
